Don't miss the release of our newest film, Streets of Freedom, at the historic Morgan Hill Community Playhouse on July 3rd at 2:30pm. We’re excited to host this film screening and reception at the kick off of Freedom Fest weekend, when tens of thousands of people will gather in Morgan Hill to celebrate Independence Day.

Imagine the electrifying experience of being present when the original signers added their names to the Declaration of Independence and Congress voted to approve it on July 4th 1776. Imagine the boldness of 13 tiny colonies defying the vast and mighty British Empire.
It’s remarkable to think that Morgan Hill held its inaugural Fourth of July Parade in 1876 and despite war, economic hardship, political turmoil and even pandemics, our tradition endures. Much has changed in the world, yet the aspirations set forth by our founding fathers in 1776 are woven into our identity. And so, we celebrate together every Fourth of July.

Today, Freedom Fest brings together more people than any other Morgan Hill event. More than 50,000 attendees enjoy a two-day festival put on by some 500 volunteers. Hundreds of community members of all ages and backgrounds participate in the Fourth of July Parade, the Freedom Run,
the Patriotic Sing, Essay Contest and Family Music Festival, and the climactic Fireworks on the Green.

It’s no wonder that Santa Clara County designated Freedom Fest as its official parade!
Our Streets of Freedom film screening runs from 2:30-4:00pm. Admission is free, but seating is limited and doors close at 3:00pm to start the film, so don’t be late.
